Schools: Public or Private?

Quite an unusual shift from the last post is int it? Well whatever the case may be, our topic for today is Schools!! Whether that be High School, or College, there has always been a debate on which is better. In the High School view, there are generally more students in a class rather than a private school. That may not always be the case though, considering some very small towns throughout the nation have public schools with as little as 7 people in a class! If not equivalent then less than those class sizes of Private schools. Another topic widely debated is the education. With generally bigger pubic schools, there are more kids in a class, which generally does not support a one on one teaching method, in which surveys show has proven most successful. With a private school however, one may be ensured to some extent that there is more of a one on one environment. Now, from both a High School and a College standpoint, there is always the issue of price. As compared to public high schools, the price of a private school can range anywhere from 5,000-40,000 dollars tuition a year! That's a lot of cash! In the college sense, although tuition can definitely reach as much as 40,000 dollars a year for a private college, state schools tend to be a little cheaper with their tuition rates, and in some cases, are about 20,000 dollars cheaper depending on where the student lives (in state, or out of state). Taking this into consideration, what do you guys think? Which would you side with? Why? If you would like to request a topic for discussion, don't hesitate to send a message!
